Jiangsu Wuxi Solo Restaurant

The project is located in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, China. This project takes the third social space as the theme. The state presented by the solo restaurant is modeled on the combined form, mainly focusing on Italian dishes.The project site is located in a commercial block, which is rich in the architecture of Jiangnan water town. The renovation design mainly focuses on the objective conditions of the base (which is built along the river). In addition to the very beautiful residential-style blocks, the natural conditions are integrated with the building, and at the same time, it is also very local.The project grasps these two points for design deduction and architectural consideration design. Therefore, in the design of the building façade, the origins of China and foreign countries were fully considered, and the Italian Roman-style "arch" state was combined with the white walls and gray tiles of Jiangnan dwellings by means of "recession" and "insertion". Coupled with the inlay of modern building materials such as weathering steel, steel mesh, and glass, the solo is not a "solo", but an "ensemble".The interior space layout is created and endowed with the language of "width", "height", "undulation" and "elevation". In this way, the organic linkage of various functional spaces is promoted, and at the same time, people can experience the atmosphere and food of the solo restaurant. What is taken and presented is the very essence of solo Italy. Gather its strengths and release its strengths. That's the spirit of solo.
