HAIHUA YUE XI LI RESORT HOTEL

HAIHUA YUE XI LI Resort Hotel is located in Xiawan Village of Zhejiang Province in the Jiangnan Region, which is surrounded by rivers and mountains. The architecture design is inspired by the local architectural style and the existing village texture in the mountains, and it creates a charming resort that will appeal to tourists. The project consists of two blocks in the north and south, Qinglanwan in the north and Qingluanju in the south, with two differentiated travel product options, to create a rich family leisure holiday scene. Qinglanwan’s rooms are courtyard-style single-family structures with both traditional and modern languages, whose form echoes the texture of surrounding villages. Qingluanju is in the valley between the two mountains. The buildings’ general layout plan is zigzagging, establishing a strong link with the surrounding environment and a diverse range of outdoor activities. The construction volumes in Qingluanju are by the mountain and are coupled with the slope in the form of a setback. The public building volume is placed on the top floor, taking advantage of the varied aspects of the site terrain and landscape resources to maximize the internal view. The selection of materials is based on their long-term viability. Local recycled stone with regional traces, wood imitation coating, and light-colored glass is used in the facade design, which blends in with the site's natural mechanisms while keeping its qualities.
