Shin'Labo

The project brief is unique, Shin'Labo design is about the transcendental importance of each person's soul where the transcendental dining experience is ingenious. The spaces are carefully designed and invite you to experience the delicate juxtaposition of French technique & Japanese produce, fine dining and art.



The restaurant facade design is bold minimal with a well-lit amber gradient texture across on concrete. We peel to skin, suggesting a curiosity and draw passers by to peep in intentionally.



Shin' lounge is designed to evoke intimacy without crowding personal individuality. The characteristic of this space is 'Labo' inspired, Labo in French and Japanese has the same meaning; it means Laboratory in English. Laboratory elements are elaborate through sculptural lighting and the lab-cabinet, complete with the landscape in Japan mountain form and texture.

Opposite Shin' lounge is the Maison du Caviar Caspienne luxe interactive caviar bar and lounge. The design is about 2 geometry, sphere 'caviar-form' gloss and cuboid satin surfaces.



Shin' kappou is a dramatic dining theatre, encouraging culture to suspend their disbelief, to give power to the truth and to advocate for new and diverse art dining experience. The layout promotes endless dialogue between Chef and diners. The ceiling pattern represents stylized waves in Japanese 'Seigaiha' in different hours with concentric arches and at the same time evokes the calm and quietness of the sea.



Krug Chef's Table room is the first and only in Asia and it's about the exclusivity of a state of mind. This private room is designed to provide private-in-private inline with exclusiveness and intimate personalised private dining experience. The functional layout is an amoeba form, rigid is not necessarily. The interior characteristic is enriched with the brand identity warm tone of warm dark cherry bookmatched, natural burl wood, bespoke tableware, profile in satin aged gold and the complementary contemporary gray, but the Krug Chef’s Table experience goes beyond the aesthetics of the space.
