Urban Life

Located in Nanjing of Jiangsu Province, Urban Life covers an area of 5,500 square meters, which aims to provide an artistic living space for residents to experience mountain life in the busy city. The site area is limited, the thickness of covering soil over the underground swimming pool is only 500 millimeters, and the area for fire fight takes up 16% of the landscape area. Therefore, how to create a mountain landscape and provide maximum natural space is a big challenge. The designers reorganized the site and its surroundings, creating a zigzag landscape route, along which plants are arranged to get people close to nature. Also, spaces are vertically integrated to increase plants coverage and provide multiple functions for users. The design combines buildings and interiors with landscape, creates an integrated space structure, and provides diverse landscape experiences.
Urban Life, an ideal home to enjoy mountain life, redefines urban life and encourages residents to live in harmony with nature.
