Aiming at the problems of unreasonable structure, hidden dangers in assembly and high manufacturing costs of current inline skates marketing, this program proposes an improvement plan for the frame package, which provides a reference for the theoretical research and practical application of inline skate equipment technology.
As the main part of the inline skates, the frame package includes the frame, ball bearing, axles, and wheels, which is the direct power generation component of the inline skate motion. The design team broke through the standard of the equal inner and outer rings heights of traditional inline skates bearings and adopted a staggered height scheme, so that the accuracy of the bearing itself almost becomes the only accuracy tolerance after the components are assembled, which ensures the high-speed operation of the bearing and good rotation endurance. This change, on the one hand, removes the use of previously necessary connecting devices and other accessories with tolerances, and completely solves the serious global problem of the wheels off-frame. On the other hand, the new design not only simplifies the assembly, but also the axles can be screwed to the limit, and the wheels no longer have space for axial movement, which greatly improves the reliability of the product. It completely eliminates the hidden danger that the wheels cannot be tightened, and ensures the safety of use.
To minimize the weight and optimize the mass-to-strength ratio, the frame component utilizes four-pipe support in a U shape to increase strength and reduce cross-sectional area of the profile, making the overall weight less than 1kg/pair, which is at least 35-40% reduced compared to its counterparts. On the basis of ensuring the impact strength and torsional strength of the frame, the straightness of the extruded profile is used to ensure the straightness of the inline wheel. The design team also reduced the thickness of the wheels from 24mm to 16/18mm without changing the material and testing standards, further reducing the weight of the inline skate, making them more environmentally friendly, and saving raw materials for the future.
