Dancing in London

The client is a newlywed couple who wants a relaxed and casual life. During the initial planning, the designer listened to the music of British singer Puma Blue, whose bright and healing atmosphere coincided with the client's ideal feeling. The theme of this project is "Impressions of London Street Houses", capturing the window shapes and lines of London houses and combining them with the couple's lively personalities. The light colors of the space combined with the arc elements make the space fit the client's needs and present a fresh and vintage London style. Inspired by the British singer Puma Blue, the designer abstracted the "impression of London Street houses" and combined it with the client's lifestyle and personality. Since it is difficult to connect the space with the city atmosphere in all white, the designer used light colors to symbolize the romantic world of newlyweds. At the same time, the main points are decorated with elements symbolizing London houses, such as the rows of cabinets and ceilings, arched windows and doors, lines, and lamps. The design is a collection of highlights presented in a visual focus reminiscent of the streets of London. Although the designer could directly reproduce the atmosphere of London's streets in this project, the evocative elements are only the accompaniment; it is the people who are touched that are the main characters. The most difficult part of this project was the fixture. If EMT pipes were used, they would have to be joined at the nodes with adapters, but too many joints would cause visual confusion. Therefore, the designer adopted stainless steel pipes to join the fixtures, and the ironworkers assembled and welded them on site. Meanwhile, the designer took advantage of the on-site construction to hide all the screws and other hardware, finally creating a flawless space without any adapter or hardware.
