Shanghai Sky Square

The project is located in the commercial core area of Fengjing Ancient Town. It closed to Fengwan Road in the south, Zhufeng Road in the east, and Huangliangfu Port in the north. Fengjing Ancient Town is affiliated to Jinshan District and is the most important “gateway to the southwest" in Shanghai. Fengjing Ancient Town is a famous cultural town in Chinese history. It is historically located at the crossroads of Wuyue and is known as Wuyue Famous Town. Fengjing is a typical town in south of Yangtze River.

Different from normal shopping centers, the project encloses a unique Chinese classical inner garden, and the enclosed space conforms to the shanghai Linong’s characteristics. We hope that it is not only a modern commercial center, but also reflects south of the Yangtze River gardens and ancient town elements by combining regional culture. By introducing the space concept of "Vertical Lane", the rich connotation of Shanghai's traditional city is reinterpreted in a vertical form, thereby inspiring people and enriching people's life experience. By setting characteristic streets and alleys along the urban interface, people are guided to enter the building and travel around in the "Vertical Lane “of the garden-style inner courtyard. The natural interface on the north side acts as a waterfront urban living room, providing an open and shared natural environment for the city and the community.

The functional organization follows the logic of commercial design. By organically utilizing the advantages of the city and nature, we will design reasonable commercial spaces and circulation. And integrate culture and nature into the project to provide the crowd with a better business experience.

It is hoped that in the ancient town area with profound cultural heritage, a modern urban complex with cultural core will be built, and multiple lifestyles and unique shopping experience will be created.
