This case is a retirement house planning project. The Japanese Karesansui landscape culture and style of the landscape are introduced into the space, and its imagery is realized using stone, wood, and water. The dark color is set as the primary color scheme to create a calm atmosphere. In short, the project creates an elegant Japanese residential style that will impress the residents with the charm of leisure and tranquility. Upon entering the public space, one will notice that a view of the moon is reflected, giving the visitor the impression of seeing the landscape from the window. Besides, the texture of the moon's surface is presented by the designer's clever use of thin, marble-like tiles. On the other hand, the TV wall in the living room is designed by the designer's ingenious technique, using Japanese hand-baked black mosaic tiles with bronze titanium plating. The textures and lines of the tiles create a sense of layering and bring in the image of ink and water flowing through the space. The flooring is made of imported wood grain tiles with almost solid wood grain, subtly echoing the space. The open study uses a wood grain ceiling to delineate the area subtly. The desk material is made from the designer's ingenious use of leftover thin faux marble tiles. Combining wood grain and clean lines reveals a humanistic aesthetic of comfortable living. Towards the dining room, the color scheme of the furniture and kitchenware is made of earthy colors, creating a solemn and calm space tone. The dining table continues the application of wood grain tiles, giving it a warm visual effect and offering extended service life. Moving slowly to the main bedroom, the occupants will realize that black is planned as the primary color scheme of the space, creating an introverted and stylish style. The black marble tiles decorate the bedside on both sides of the black bandage, subtly creating a picture frame effect and a sense of layers.
