This work is called ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response), which describes a calm and pleasant sensation, often accompanied by a trembling euphoria, which comes from the human brain and spreads to the spine and sometimes to the limbs as a result of stimulation, and can be achieved through the use of microphones with stereo sound effects. The subtlest of rubs and vibrations generated by miscellaneous objects can be collected through the use of special microphones. The user wears headphones and enjoys the calmness and comfort that these special sounds bring. The inspiration for this work came from the fact that I was a poor sleeper and thus sought external help by listening to ASMR to fall asleep quickly. It was found that the sense of touch can also have the same effect as the sense of hearing, and it was assumed that ASMR could also be enjoyed through non-electronic transmission. These were the frictional sound produced by a make-up brush when applying make-up to the face, the percussive sound of a drumstick hitting a leather surface and the tearing and pulling sound of a magic buckle in the clothing industry. The project explores the possibilities of devices and wearables in the field of jewellery and discusses how materials with specific mechanisms and textures can be used in the field of fabric design without the use of electronic devices, and whether fabrics can provide unique sensations to humans beyond comfort. The work is divided into three modules. From the point of view of material innovation, the 'percussion module' uses a mixture of coffee powder and other powdery materials such as waterproof glue, which is attached to a rough cardboard to mimic the texture of traditional cowhide and crazy horse leather, and which the author believes could be used as a substitute for animal skins in the leather goods sector. The innovative material has a good toughness and can meet the basic needs of leather goods production.
