Breeze White

It's a 30-year-old mid-rise residential building in Taipei. In line with the homeowner's aesthetic preferences, the interior is designed with a Japanese minimalist style as the central axis, with precise and appropriate proportions to highlight the beauty of the blank space. At the entrance hall, a functional composite cabinet is used to combine shoe cabinets, shoe-wearing chairs, storage wall cabinets and display cabinets into one. With wooden grilles and white series panels as the design, presenting a neat and simple visual atmosphere, to shape a warm and clean appearance, and at the same time have a powerful storage function.


The dining and kitchen space is designed with a one-line kitchen and a bar table, so the light is smoothly reflected in the room from the rear floor-to-ceiling windows, empowering the interior lighting and transparency. The ceiling faces a height difference between the living room and the dining and kitchen area, and a highlighting decoration effect is created through the 1/4 round chamfered light strip design.


The staircase is made of solid wood to integrate the light strip bar of the handrail to create a visual guide for the moving line. The bedroom on the second floor continues the design of white walls, ceilings and indirect light sources on the first floor, which effectively reduces the space oppression caused by the low height of the building. At the same time, hidden wall cabinets enhance the storage function, and geometrically shaped cabinets and linear light strips are used to make the space tidy and elegant with layers.


In addition to the renovation of the structure and pipelines, the whole house is visually planned with a clear white tone and wooden texture. It seems simple but not easy. Many design details are integrated into the space, which perfectly reshapes the aesthetics of life and dramatically serves the owner, improving the home's quality so that the family can enjoy life in the sun.
