Yangji Lifestyle Plaza is located in Longhua District, Shenzhen and features exceptional geography, convenient traffic condition, a direct access to the metro station, and commercial volume of about 70,000 m2. To keep the plaza vibrant and lively, the dual-color space considers the market niche, the target customer group and diverse needs, thinks out of the box, and takes situational, experiential and guide-in consumption as its business operation characteristics. In the pre-design stage, the team members extracted three problems relating to space experience, floor plan system and space use, optimized flow line experience, accessibility, space memory points and special area formation, and also modified spaces to increase the overall store efficiency rate by 3.5%, which's expected to boost the commercial value.

Functioning as the entrance to the commercial sunken plaza, Xingguan Plaza presents a special commercial atmosphere where the staircase is a value-added space. Stall area that fits to the entrance of the commercial plaza is added in seamless connection with the interior space, uplifting commercial atmosphere and attracting visitors.

At the main entrance, the flowing water like crowds of visitors and the ceiling canopy form a streamline engaged with the ambient space, appealing customers to walk inside and creating a pleasant and relaxing setup.

The hourglass theme of the main atrium resembles glittering sand grains scattered in an hourglass. When falling into the space, sand grains stack as a staged overhang platform. Interlaced lines and soft curves enrich the overall rhythm and rhyme, create rich layers, and attract visitors. Whenever requested, the digital transparent LED can roll motion pictures, or display dynamic effects amid events or within a given time frame, making the venue lively and vibrant.

Y Market Square is YOUNG market tailored for Yangji Group. The entrance leading to the metro station uses fancy glass as a way to infuse modern fashion, and combines different business formats to create theme areas, which in turn suits the preferences of today's young people.

The design’s an ensemble of culture, life and art that leverages the multi-form “third spaces”, delivering "extraordinary sensory experience" for young consumers.
