Out of Frame

The design of Out of Frame features a complete set of materials for system furniture, with a wide variety of system panels and green materials that construct an eco-friendly interior space. Out of Frame, with three bedrooms and a living room, covers around 66 square meters. In view of the limited space and a fixed budget, materials for system furniture make up 90% of the layout. However, the general stereotype of system furniture being standardized and rigid is subverted by making it a “custom-made” masterpiece. From the choices in the types of panels, the colors of door panels, and door handles, to the juxtaposition of different metal components, the irregular-shaped shelves and hollow-out design, the advantages of system furniture are used to the fullest while demonstrating excellent carpentry. The designer has paid meticulous attention to all the details, so much so that the design is precision and perfection itself, measured by the millimeter. The different part of the entire space are consistent and harmonious while retaining their individualities. Each room is constructed to meet the needs of different personalities, overcoming various limitations by exercising infinite imagination in a limited space. The living-dining room ushers in ample natural light. An abundance of white is used as the keynote color, which, together with light-color wood-vein panels and hardwood dining table of the same tone, adds harmonious enrichment and vibrant exuberance to the public space that partakes of a rustic charm. The sideboards and suspended cabinets at the top of the TV wall are made of white glass panes, which are neat and transparent, thus cleverly reducing the feeling of oppression from the cabinetry.
