Gong Lounge Bar is located at Gateway World in Chengdu. The project is designed to provide a resting place for people who work in the surrounding area. It is hoped that after their busy work day, they will empty their minds and slow down their steps to pause for a while. The concept of Gong Lounge Bar is based on the idea that wine is made with a slow-fermenting yeast that offers the final drink a more complex flavor. In the end, we hope that the Gong Lounge bar's design will present a slow-paced environment where people can let down their guard and let their minds wander away from the hustle and bustle of the outside world while still being in the middle of the street's activity. It will allow people's tired bodies and minds to be soothed.
