Gaia, the Goddess of the Earth, is a prominent and honorable figure in ancient Greek mythology. Gaia is the ancestor mother of all life. The house, therefore, is comprehensively decorated with stones that symbolize the existence and presence of the goddess of the earth. Grey, as the color signifying the low-key and all-embracing characteristics, is selected as the main color in this interior design project.

It’s the interior design of the villa, in which the 1st floor is the public area composed of the living room, dining room and kitchen, all of which manifest the clear view. The living room is decorated with the three different natural stones. The TV wall is made of the marble stone with its symmetrical artistic patterns. The wall behind the sofa is decorated with the marble stones and the bronze mirrors. The combination of the two distinct materials strengthens the diversity. The built-in wall shelves, meanwhile, add an attraction to the living room. The titanium-plated metal frame between the living room and dining room intensifies the stereoscopic sense. The design plan magnifies the indoor space with the horizontal scale. The dining room in the central area creates the dual traffic flows. The dining room decorated with the dark wood ceiling implicitly defines its boundary. The white kitchen, behind the dining room, is decorated with the kitchen island. The white kitchen similarly defines its area as well. The house is decorated with diverse materials that show the delicate textures and low-chroma varieties.

The work area and parlor, on the 2nd floor, is mainly decorated with woods. The stone bookshelves demonstrate distinct design styles with stones. The vivid color of the single seats adds charms to interior furnishing.
