In order to create a spiritual environment that inherits the cuckoo style, the designer of this project will remodel and perfect the natural components of Bijie. The city’s cultural history of tenacity and adaptability is explored through mountains and rivers, and an immersive experience of folk practices is developed to represent a leisure and resort hotel.

The overarching concept develops the project’s central image, “Rhododendron”, from the standpoint of enhancing local cultural icons in accordance with the physical features of the surrounding area. Taking “flower” as the inspiration for the design, the design team aim to convey the amazing development of Bijie and stir up people’s desire for a better life.

As for the interior, the designer uses earth tones, and the use of natural materials that change with the passage of time creates a visually soothing environment that encourages both physical and mental relaxation. In order to create a warm environment and interpret subtle texture in details, the designer takes advantage of contemporary and straightforwardly beautiful design principles. The area is given life by the soft decorative design, which incorporates seed, representing hope, tree, representing growth, and other design elements throughout the home accessories. The visitors can also receive healing energy, which nourishes their body and soul. Art installations are used to decorate and change the look of each area, giving the impression that the scenery is changing with varied scenes.

The public area mimics the appearance of nearby natural components, combined with landscape mirrors, dispersed dwellings, longitudinal corridors, and the enclosed inner courtyard landscape to produce a rich spatial sequence. Thanks to pastorable elements, a peaceful cohabitation between people and nature is created.

A number of wooden furnishings, cozy lighting, and a plain, brilliant wall design are employed in the guest room area to provide visitors a quiet, serene setting. Thanks to the combination between natural aesthetics and the delicateness of Oriental building, as well as the simple and graceful line aesthetics and mellow abstract space, each and every inch of the space plays a fascinating chemical role here.
