World Trade Residence

Characterized by “simplicity, luxury and elegance”, World Trade Residence, a private villa, represents a new expression of what is an artistic, close-to-nature life in the eyes of the designers.

The dining area and the adjacent living room have a ceiling height of nearly five meters, offering residents an open view and eliminating the oppressive feeling from the moment they enter the home. The two areas adopts an open layout to make up for the lack of space at the entrance. Meanwhile, all superfluous ornaments and visual obstructions are discarded so that residents can have a good view of the entire space.

Light is an important factor that affects the indoor environment as well as the mood and feeling of residents. The project uses a large area of premium gray as its main color, which, supplemented by Morandi color schemes, create a harmonious, exquisite and tranquil atmosphere for the entire project. As for the selection of furniture, the design team emphasizes harmony and unity, aiming to integrate the colors with the surrounding environment and eliminate the sense of fragmentation and disconnection.

In addition, a transparent design is applied to many parts of the project to let in natural light and add an airy feel. Such an arrangement results in a dynamic interplay of light and shadow, creating a stretched, warm and smooth, or a hazy light effect in different areas of the villa, thus achieving the unity of ambience and functionality.
