Sequence garden

As an integral part of the 2021 Yangzhou World Horticultural Exposition, the project is designed to inherit the traditional gardening techniques represented by the "Yuanye" culture and Yangzhou gardens, reconstruct the space, widely apply green technologies such as ecology, environmental protection and sponge, highlight the expression of local cultural landscape, give play to the site advantages and functional potential, and create an ever-changing space with flexible functions and various forms.

The landscape design adopts the design concept of " changing scenery step by step " and "ecological sponge", and uses the classical landscape construction techniques and ecological design techniques of China traditional gardens, such as "borrowing scenery, framing scenery, opposing scenery, missing scenery, blocking scenery and restraining scenery", and takes "sequence space" as the theme to expand 12 nodes in the four seasons. In order to solve the local water problem of high temperature and rainy in summer and little rain in winter, permeable pavements and native plants are adopted in the design of 12 nodes, which are used to store courtyard rainwater and provide ecological water for plants, and can also be humidified and cooled through rainwater evaporation.
