Leafing page

The project is a three-generation residence named " Page˙Leaf ", which is from the concrete design and abstract blessing meaning in the space. The design team expresses the book page image on the façade and takes the color tone of the leaves to highlight the meaning of the family. Finally, they strike the perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality.
The design adopts the concept of a giant library to translate the storage cabinet into a large book. Storage is also a metaphor for the passage of time. The family lineage is compared to the leaf vein, and the change from the public area to the private area is alluded to by the change of color tone. The public area has natural elements such as earth tones and stone patterns, representing the soil and essence that nourishes the family. The private area has different shades of green to symbolize the space for different age groups. For example, the grandparents’ room with dark green tones of wisdom, the master bedroom with dark green tones of rustic gray, and the children's room with freshness like buds.
