Homes at the Top of Eling

Eling Residences is located on a hilltop in the mysterious and multilevel Yuzhong District in Chongqing, China. It earned its name by being adjacent to Eling Park, which was established during the Qing dynasty.

Due to the semi-curved layout of the building, the interior follows a semi-curved shape as well. It is designed to correspond to the shape of the building and display the beauty of the curve without any extra decoration in the space partitioning, ceiling, and walls, leading to an endless flow of rhythmic beauty between the interior and the exterior. Even the design of the air-conditioning vent complements the soft curve of the space.

Apart from that, the building features a balcony linking the indoor space and the exterior scenery, providing a splendid view of the city from the top of the hill in the central city. Moreover, the giant Jacaranda beside the house supplements the vibrancy of the balcony. The balcony functions as a party area as well as a viewpoint, relocating the social area of the residence to the outdoor. As the owner is fond of skiing and motorcycling, an exclusive view at the end of the balcony offers a refreshing atmosphere of skiing and motorcycling, turning the balcony into a great place to relax.
