Railynn Ring

We were commissioned by a client for creating a unique ring with meaning.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The client hired us to design a unique ring with a certain meaning. With that in mind, the approach to designing the ring was by following the principles like when creating the coat of arms (COA). The approach to designing this ring was very different than usual. First, the structure was set, positioning the main elements to get a nice balance. And from there building the end look of the ring with other meaningful elements round the main ones.

INSPIRATION:
Inspiration was to design a ring by implementing the laws of building the coat of arms (COA). The clients wish was for the ring to represent the family members and the moments in life. Like coat of arms, which is a special symbol used to represent a specific individual, family, or other entity. The same idea was here to create a ring with similar principles.

REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
The ring is made in Italy by the Italian master jewellers. With this design, we went for 3D design and printing technology. Based on the sketch, the 3D model of the ring was created for printing the wax model prepared for casting. The ring is made of 18K rose gold. The gemstones are natural pink tourmaline, yellow sapphires and diamonds.
