Origins

This is the design planning project of a well-known medical dressing’s marketing and sales department in Taiwan. Since the client is a prominent brand in Taiwan with 75 years of age, the designer extracted the product's characteristics into the interior space and delicately configured a new look of the office, providing colleagues and international customers with a quality and comfortable environment for business. Through elaborate and careful planning, the designer reinvents the public's stereotypical image of the traditional industry. The brand image and storytelling are cleverly brought into the space to emphasize the cultural background of the company and the product concept, perfectly reflecting the trustworthy brand image.

This project perfectly blends natural elements and corporate products through the designer’s ingenuity. Upon entering the interior space, one will notice that a cave is used as a fallout area with privacy and exploration, giving each visitor a surprise. The curved wooden rods wrap around the wall and extend inward, resembling the image of the company’s original products, gauze rolls, and non-woven fabric, while at the same time, inviting people in. In the office space, large windows are implemented at the end to frame the rare green scenery outside. The towering stone wall echoes the traditional stone-grinding elements of Taiwan, conveying the concept of corporate heritage and solid foundation. In contrast, the image of the Daruma doll on the glass wall is the core of the corporate’s 1947 first generation logo, reminding the staff to "never forget their origins.”

The designer has deliberately utilized natural elements in the space to subtly reconcile the differences between the old and new eras and recreate a comfortable and cozy office place. By creating a soothing and friendly office environment, the designers offer the users a space that stimulates their imagination and business productivity.
