The feeling of ‘coming home’ begins from hearing the audible ‘ding’ as soon as you stepped out of the lift. As the lift door opens and you transit from a semi-private space to your private space, the weight of the world is left behind momentarily. This penthouse is a realization of the client’s dream, of coming home to a quiet luxury. We worked around their deep admiration for Travertine and extracted tones and hues of beige and ivory to create a tone-on-tone palette that embraces and accentuates the natural sunlight that floods through the space. Because of their working lifestyle, we wanted the living room to always be saturated with light and warmth. As we move deeper into the space, we introduced softer curves on the carpentry and even on the ceiling to envelope the occupants; An enhanced sense of comfort paired with a calm, affectionate atmosphere.

This home pays homage to the admiration of natural materials and revels in how tactility juxtaposes and corresponds. To elevate their quality of life, we learnt their habits and mannerism and curated a space that encouraged relaxation and being clutter-free. Celebrating their successes with them, we infused a sense of luxury into their home, one that they can be grateful to be in each other’s presence.
