Zhenlong-Blackstone Resort

This project is a rural resort project which is built on an abandoned village on Zhoushan Island. The site has a unique surrounding environment, facing the sea and backed by green mountains.



"architectural rebirth and natural symbiosis" was the main design concept, which can not only realize our respect for traditional architectural culture, but also meet the aesthetic and psychological needs of modern people.



The overall planning design is expanded from the reception building to the outside. In order to realize the design concept of symbiosis with nature, the planning maximally retains the original natural landscape. Most of the construction is completed in patches of green grass.



The reception center is the main building of this project. we used local materials, a great number of white plaster and stone walls to realize the inheritance of local dwellings.



The interior space design takes more consideration of the modern aesthetic needs. On the first floor, arched doors are designed to divide the indoor and outdoor Spaces, and large glass curtain walls are used to create continuous visual circulation of the indoor and outdoor Spaces. Warm and cool colors rhythmically match with the interactive function of the public space. The restaurant and coffee bar on each side of the building has excellent views of the sea and the hills.



The guest rooms on the second floor are designed by simple shape and white color, which are also matched with large areas of glass curtain walls. Through simple design, the natural landscape is maximized in the rooms.
