Lin Residence

The owner is a male web engineer who is currently single. The design of the small newly built house consists of two bedrooms, one living room, and one study/multi-functional room, which meets the owner's needs with good design. The overall visual appearance does not exceed two color tones, and there are no unnecessary designs that make the space too overwhelming. The two different and contrasting color tone materials are used to create a dialogue in the space. The seemingly unified TV wall is composed of three different materials: system board, stone, and special paint, adding diversity to the spatial texture. The intercom wall and key cabinet, which are made up of gray wood grain, extend towards the hallway leading to the master bedroom. The entire cabinet seems like a sitting figure in the room, making the space more three-dimensional. The high-ceilinged living room ceiling, combined with the study's facade, reveals the wood grain color inside the study in the bare space, contrasting with the gray wood grain on the wall. The simple tones extends to the living room, creating a calm yet warm resting area.
