2023Light Up the Future-Taiwan Lantern Festival in Taipei

The theme of the 2023 Taiwan Lantern Festival is "Light up the Future", allowing the world to see Taipei's diverse creativity and the city's core values.
Our work combines light poles, street alleys and traffic islands in the city, and uses the linear concept to subtly integrate the festive atmosphere of the Lantern Festival into Taipei City. "Free Capital", "Floating City", and "Impression of Taipei", the city image of Taipei is shown in the works from three different levels and viewing perspectives:

1. "Infinity Equation"
The fusion of radio and sound amplification at the entrance of the alley symbolizes that Taipei is the front line or accepting different voices, and everyone have the right to speak and listen to various ideas and voices.
2. "YouBike So Easy"
Taipei's good traffic planning has greatly improved the convenience of "people" living in the city. Bicycles are still the best tool for short-distance public transportation, and YouBike can be seen everywhere in Taipei City. It not only brings convenience to the people in their lives, but also improves people's awareness of environmental
protection.
3. “Wellness Spirits" and “Bouncing Jade Rabbits"
Taipei is ever-changing, no matters from the uncrowded street alleys to the bustling skyscrapers, from the countryside mountains to the seaside embankments. Our illuminations make good use of the gap between the island and the road trees, and the zodiac rabbit will lead you through Taipei.
4. “Arche of City Light"
The traditional window grilles of Taipei's old streets are reorganized into arches of light, and the decoration becomes a story of the times in the city's alleys. Let the window grilles, which are most easily overlooked, be close to people's ordinary life, and it also shows the beauty of Taiwan's cultural heritage.
