ZHUJIANG HOSPITAL SOUTHERN MEDICAL UNIVERSITY CLINICAL SKILL

This project is located in the Second Clinical Medical College of the Old Overseas Chinese Building of ZhuJiang Hospital of Southern Medical University in Haizhu District, Guangzhou. The site has a total of seven floors and is a transformation project of the old building of graduate student dormitories. The indoor total construction area is about 4875 square meters. In order to meet the requirements of undergraduate teaching, standardized training for resident physicians, specialized physician training, general practitioner training, "Volunteer Emergency Response" university student service team, teaching and scientific research, etc., the rainbow concept is incorporated into the transformation design. The design uses the colorful and brilliant "rainbow" to distinguish the functional spaces of each floor, and also symbolizes the goal of reaching the future from reality. It creates a world-class simulation medicine center with Chinese characteristics.

The rainbow that hangs high in the sky after the rain is the initial intention of the designer using the rainbow as the design concept, and also a sincere wish for every medical talent who enters the center-even if they have experienced some wind and rain and become dim and invisible, with the help of the center and their own strong perseverance, they will regain new life and radiance. After that, the wind and rain will disperse, and the rainbow will rise.

The internal design of the project uses various rich colors to symbolize warmth and hope, giving the building a bright and warm main tone. The main color is bright white, supplemented by colorful tone materials, in order to pursue a peaceful and energetic atmosphere. Through the meticulous design and polishing of different materials, textures, spatial lines, and lighting, the project breaks the "cold" feeling of hospitals and communicates a more diverse feeling to the brain, shaping a warm, bright, and pleasant medical teaching environment.
