2023 Taiwan Lantern Festival in Taipei-Taipei NEXT!

"Taipei NEXT!" is a composite lighting work fully using wireless system transmission. This work combine projection mapping, sound effects, lighting and lasers on the four main walls of the Taipei City Municipal Building which has surpassed tens of millions of visitors.

Using 30 projectors with 30,000 lumens and more than 300 lighting

equipment, this is the first complete architectural four-sided projection art work in Taipei, Taiwan. Moreover,"Taipei NEXT!"

initiated and led the real-time performance collaboration with the Taipei 101.

Concept:The life and vitality of the city is derived from flow. The movement of people and vehicles brings communication and exchange, integration and progress. It also symbolizes coexistence and co-prosperity, while the future represents the integration of the real and the virtual in a sustainable city. "Taipei NEXT!" imagines Taipei City Hall as the city’s heart, and outlines all aspects of the people’s lives, from the "skin" (the city's hotspots) and DNA (livable city life) to the blood that runs throughout the body (the future of the city). This conveys the continuous progress of Taipei, expressing that the future is near and the present is the future, Now and Next!
