Garamond, The Tribute Portfolio Hotel is located in the historic building from 1938, in the heart of Krakow. The interiors are inspired by the art déco style, back from the inter-war period when the building belonged to the Krakow press magnate who had here the headquarter of the editorial office of Poland's most popular daily newspaper. Numerous unique details, colour and materials make guests feel the authenticity of that era combined with the good quality and luxury. Each element and detail of the lobby, restaurant, communication and the rooms, creates the coherent space with the numerous references to the extraordinary history of the building. Lobby and Reception This is the place where history is connecting the present. The eclectic style of the interior is the mixture of modern and Art Deco style. Art deco style is a style of luxury and modernity with geometric elements like arcs, soft lines and rich materials. All modern elements are in the context of an old typewriter, photos, newspapers, magazines from the time of the press magnate. The style and details of the interior correspond to the history of the building. Navy blue, gold, copper and orange colours refers to the royal character of the City of Cracow. Items from the past, such as a gramophone, old photos of Dabrowski, his social life and details of the print give the interior a unique character and the story. This is a place with the soul, unique character and a little bit of nostalgia.
