The brand connotation of Shede Spirits is rooted in traditional Chinese culture, and keeps consistency with the big-picture mindset in Weiqi (also known as Go, a cultural gem throughout Chinese long history), that is, making small sacrifices for greater value. Designed for the cultural and creative product, Shede Spirit — Oriental Wisdom, this packaging reveals an organic fusion of Shede's cultural connotation and the Weiqi culture, and further offers a 2-in-1 feature, i.e., allowing users to take a delight in playing Weiqi while savoring the prime spirits.
Anchored in traditional Chinese culture, and inspired by the association between Shede's cultural connotation and the Weiqi culture, this well-crafted packaging design helps upgrade Shede Spirit — Oriental Wisdom into a renowned one with profound Chinese cultural connotation; also, the trailblazing integration of Weiqi into the spirits packaging can offer a refreshing and emotionally interactive experience to modern consumers. As the box is opened, a classic Weiqi game in a graphic form comes into view, symbolizing that this product will withstand the test of time and hold up as a classic icon in the fine spirits market. Below the Weiqi graphic are spirits bottles and Weiqi stone bowls. All of them are styled after black and white Weiqi stones into rounded, sleek, and shiny bodies, brimming with strong Oriental charm; and the cross arrangement of black and white symbolizes the competition and equilibrium between two opposing forces in Weiqi. To add some playfulness to the packaging, the box also comes with a Weiqi board in its drawer, allowing users to play Weiqi with friends over a glass of spirits.
