Rosé

Located in the basement of one of the famous department store in Taipei, this café is designed in the concept of “pinky bubbles” to demonstrate the freshness and vitality of a new marched store. This café serves seasonal drinks and typically featured its innovative Hong Kong street food -egg waffles.

The rose-pink color is mainly used for the interior, which continues along the façade of café counter and across the entire eatery area. The sparky golden linear pattern highlights each pink panel and runs through the skirting board. The vintage round lamps are hung across the walls in order to be consistent with the concept of “pinky bubbles”. The cherry red color padded wall panels with LED strip running along help to draw people’s attention, and a grey shaped mirror is placed at the end of the café to visually extend space.

The pink half round wood trims flank one side at the entrance with the light boxes of the shop’s logo on its surface. The same element is rhythmically used at the coffee counter, creating a focal point of the whole shop. The dry ornamental plants at the front of the coffee counter also help to soften the entire space.
