Le Smart Litter Box

The litter box is a frequently-used space for pets. However, it is a pity that few products are designed from the perspective of pets, another user long overlooked, to create a “pet-friendly” living space. To this end, we focus on the demand of both pets and their owners, aiming to create pet products that please both sides and help build a harmonious human-pet co-living space.
Architecture serves as the link between art, aesthetics, physical space, human perception, and emotions. Therefore, we design this pet litter box based on five human habitat architectural design principles (space/structure/functionality/aesthetics/humanism) to reshape the pet’s living space. Inspired by the pioneering spirit of Le Corbusier, a leading figure in modern architecture, we named our pet product Le to motivate our team to explore the deeper relations between pets, humans, and products.
Focusing on product design aesthetics, we carefully observe and analyze the cat's toileting process, replicating each step in the product design and developing multiple intelligent technologies to solve the pain points for human-pet co-living, which makes Le distinctive among similar competitive products.
1. Human Habitat Aesthetics: The product's appearance embodies a modern aesthetic with clean lines and a harmonious color scheme. Adorned with line patterns reminiscent of Roman column bodies, it becomes an art piece within the home space.
2. Safety Guardian: It utilizes gravity, radar, infrared, and other technologies to capture pets' activities in real time. It auto-adjusts the interaction & operation of various functions to ensure the pet's safety during product usage and in their surrounding environment.
3. Cozy and Clean: It uses an original intelligent exhaust & deodorizing system packed with silver ion antibacterial materials, negative ion for disinfection&deodorization, fragrance slots, and the auto-opening and closing cabin doors to achieve all-around deodorization, ventilation, sterilization, and disinfection within the enclosed space. It prevents dust and splashes of litter from spreading to the external space during the product operation, ensuring a clean and hygienic overall environment.
4. Intelligent Interaction: Equipped with an online 24/7 monitoring system, it enables real-time tracking of the pets' daily activities and health status via a mobile app.
