Extensive use of imported marble throughout the space conveys the grandeur and extravagance. Dark Italian marble floor used throughout the flooring also provides a seamless aesthetic. Meandering through the reception, brings to heart of the house, showcasing the architecture model of the property.



Soaring 8 metres high, the architecture model gallery is destined to be an awe-inspiring space. The ceiling is asymmetrically canted and designed to reminisce the traditional Chinese roof. Made of large panels of timber and slightly curved at corners, providing a sense of place, an emotional connection between people and place.



Anchoring the lounge is a long bar of nearly 10 metres in length, made from imported marble slabs. Each marble slab was chosen at great lengths to ensure the patterns on the marble would match up and mirrored perfectly and the overall result would be a homogenously look. To break the monotony of the length and to create articulation and interest, the extended portion of the bar is specifically designed with different material and texture. The back of the bar is a series of shelves taken inspiration from the Chinese traditional octagonal windows. Made from thin antique bronze metal profile, each shelf has 2 bent corners forming half a octagon shape and rhythmically stacked with one another and side by side. This repetition is also another instance of Chinese architecture.



Integrating the design concepts, every space was tailored made and bespoke details were shared so as to achieve synonymous but cohesive look.

Finally, to brand the design even more distinct, an added detail was uniquely created solely for this project. Known for their Nanxiang dumplings, we have taken the inspiration from the thin folded skins and incorporate it to many instances throughout the property. These are be seen in at the base of reception desk where each petal of the fan-folds are executed in thin metal strips. Similarly, these details can also be found on door and wall panel designs throughout the project.
