Yunnan Visitor Center

The Visitor Center aims to create a tourist resort area that is suitable for visitors year-round and around the clock. The project integrates culture, leisure, tourism, sports, research, conferences and hotels into the project, offering both a natural and modern experience with diverse and convenient amenities.
In the early morning, as the sun rises, the lake is enveloped in thick mist that slowly dissipates into the surrounding forest. Visitors strolling through the forest have a sensation of simultaneously passing through trees and clouds. In response to these requirements, the architect proposed the design concept of Water, Bamboo, Cloud to evoke the fleeting and poetic atmosphere of these moments. This concept blends four elements: water, shore, bamboo and clouds, expressing them through architectural design. The lake, the architecture and the people converge here, engaging in a warm and intimate conversation.
