Shenzhen Pingshan High School Campu

Shenzhen Pingshan High School Campu is located in the Sha Lake community, under the jurisdiction of the Biling Street Office in Pingshan District, Shenzhen. With a land area of approximately 202,000 square meters and a total construction area of around 280,000 square meters, the project aims to accommodate three high schools. These schools include a liberal arts school with 48 classes, a science school with 54 classes, and an integrated school offering both liberal arts and science with 60 classes. The design scope encompasses various educational spaces across the three schools, such as a performing arts center, a multi-functional hall, a library, a sports arena, a swimming pool, a comprehensive teaching building, an elevated corridor, a cafeteria, dormitory buildings, and sports fields capable of withstanding adverse weather conditions. Upon completion, the project is expected to accommodate 162 high school classes and provide 8,100 student placements. The design objectives of Shenzhen Pingshan High School Campu aim to meet the construction standards and guidelines for ordinary primary and secondary schools in Pingshan District, Shenzhen. The goal is to create a comprehensive spatial plan that caters to students' artistic, humanistic, and scientific development while facilitating efficient communication between teachers and students. The public spaces are designed to be flexible and adaptable for organizing various interactive activities. The overall spatial concept is inspired by the notion of a "settlement" and embodies the essence of "clouds, mountains, and water." This concept gives rise to a textured aesthetic characterized by "red rocks, green tiles, and natural wood," blending different spatial forms. It imbues the campus with a diverse, free, and open design tone, with the aspiration to establish a cultural heritage site that harmoniously integrates with the surrounding landscape, creating a century-old campus.
