Ocean One

Ocean One, which located in Shanghai, is a renovation project. It was originally a public space in a residential community and is now being converted into a showroom to cater to customers.
The designer to keep the original structure and layer are tall, redo the exterior skin part, at the same time, through the wall of the design methods and the use of glass curtain wall, indoor and outdoor landscape integration, through visual outspread enlarge the visual effect, thus reach the height of the indoor and outdoor. The philosophy "the book of changes" in the history of Chinese traditional culture into the design, the purpose is to hope to comply with the avenue DE human activity and natural law, not detained by external things, "inaction and all for", finally to reach a harmonious state.

Design concept
1. Unlimited Boundary
Break the inherent boundaries of indoor, architectural and landscape, break through traditional concepts, and achieve the trinity. As the main material of building facade, glass breaks the boundary of indoor and outdoor visually and brings transparent visual experience to people.
2. Infinite Vision
Take indoor as the core, accomplish every space or corridor and natural union, let indoor and landscape union, stand in indoor each position can see natural scenery. Use of large area be born glass, maximize on the vision, the outdoor pool through the glass curtain wall to indoor, indoor bridge linking connection to the outdoor landscape, completed the cross and well versed in indoor and outdoor space landscape.
Methods: with space between each part of the glass curtain wall and ground of building. The water from outside through the glass curtain wall to the indoor pool, indoor bridge as a linking connects to the outdoor landscape, completed the indoor and outdoor space landscape cross and penetration.
