DOLCESARDO restyling

We are thrilled to present the graphic restyling of Arborea's Dolcesardo packaging, an iconic soft cheese that embodies the essence of Sardinian culture.

The aim of this restyling was to create a design that seamlessly blends tradition and modernity while preserving the original values of Sardinianness, quality, and authenticity.

At the heart of our new packaging design are six hand-drawn Sardinian faces each highly detailed and elegantly dressed in traditional attire. These faces pay homage to the rich heritage and diversity of Sardinia, while conveying a feeling of comfort and authenticity for both the regional and national customer.

While the design is modern, we have taken great care to ensure that it remains recognizable, preserving the essence that Dolcesardo represents.

Clean lines and a back-to-basics approach were the foundation of our new design. By stripping away any unnecessary elements, restoring the original squareness of the font and the number of people present in the original packaging from the 1950s (six - whereas in recent packagings only two were left) we have recalled a visual language that speaks directly to the brand's iconic identity.

Furthermore, the color palette is inspired by the vibrant hues found in the Sardinian landscape. Rich blues reminiscent of the crystal-clear waters that surround the island and warm earthy tones evoke a sense of tranquillity and connection to nature. This color scheme adds depth and visual appeal to the packaging, engaging consumers on an emotional level.
