NMNS [Life on Earth] AI Intelligent Exhibition System



"Life on Earth" is one of the most popular permanent exhibitions at the National Museum of Natural Science (NMNS) in Taiwan. In order to help visitors of different ages better understand the exhibition, NMNS has implemented an AI-powered multimedia system using the [U.N.I.Q.U.E] innovative strategy.



The exhibition area is equipped with 15 multimedia interactive devices that use AI facial recognition technology to quickly analyze the age and emotional response of visitors, and provide age-appropriate content accordingly. The system also uses intelligent flow control technology to confirm the usage status of the devices in the exhibition area, recommend the best viewing positions for visitors, and encourage visitors to engage in in-depth learning and understand the ecological crises that the Earth is currently facing.



[U.N.I.Q.U.E] features:



(1) User Profile Generation

Through AI face recognition technology, it analyzes the age, gender and emotional response of the audience, and actively provides age-appropriate digital content to the audience.



(2) New Visitor Experience

Provide personalized tour exploration tasks, while providing visitors with interactive multimedia content Chinese English bilingual age classification (adults/children), and reward visitors with points ranking to encourage deep learning.



(3) Identity Verification

Using fast AI face recognition technology, visitors can quickly log in to the interactive devices in the exhibition hall and quickly enjoy personalized smart guide services.



(4) Queue Management

Integrate AIOT technology to jointly detect the use of 15 interactive devices, guide visitors to unmanned machines, improve visiting efficiency, and reduce waiting time.



(5) User Retention

Each exhibition area provides exploration tasks, and after completing the tasks, audiences can get mission points and exchange them for prizes, which attracting visitors to actively explore and learn, and enhance the audience's interest in the museum.



(6) Environmental Awareness

The intuitive situational interactive illustration and realistic ecological environment interface design attract the audience to browse, provide content containing environmental conservation awareness, and inspire thinking and action on sustainable environment.
