INTRODUCTION: 7Plumeria Drive is a clubhouse, surrounded by apartments. The main aim was to have space where all the residents around can spend their evenings, celebrate parties and feel relax from their busy routine. So, in the given plot, amenities like celebration hall, party lawn, play area, swimming pool were designed. The clubhouse and landscaping acted as the focus of the housing society.

LOCATION: 7 Plumeria Drive site is situated at Punawle, Pune, Maharashtra, India, on old Mumbai–Pune highway. It has various IT companies and educational institutes as well as industries in the surroundings.

CONCEPT: Lines are an important element in geometry. Lines are everywhere in design. They are used to divide space, direct the user's eye, create flow, create emphasis and organize all design elements into form. Usually, we don't think about lines that much, but we make use of them quite often to visually communicate our objective to the user. Staying in sync with the present-day style and crafting a space keeping in mind the use of Lines was the key motive.

The typology and architectural character of existing buildings were studied in order to arrive on space design. A space that has to be used for celebration, relief from a busy routine. The activities and the paving patterns, green pockets were designed to reflect the linearity in the overall design.

MATERIALS AND FINISHES: Combinations of polished granite, sandblasted granite with lawn and water to have a neutral material palette. Play of lights and materials along with the plantation scheme creates a happy and enjoyable ambiance.

CHALLENGE: In the given limited portion of the plot, designing a space for celebration and relaxation, following the linearity and character of existing buildings in surroundings was a challenge.
