Hulunbuir, one of the three largest grasslands in the world, has fresh air, pure water sources, abundant sunshine, and lush pastures. Since ancient times, the herdsmen of Inner Mongolia have lived and grazed their cattle and sheep on this boundless grassland. The ancient verse “The sky is blue and the wild is vast, the wind blows the grass low and sees the cattle and sheep” represents the impression and longing of the Chinese people for this grassland.

Yili, Asia’s number one dairy group, chose Hulunbuir as the exclusive milk source for producing Satine Hulunbuir Organic Pure Milk, which is shipped directly from the origin, bringing the natural gifts of the grassland to the consumers.

In order to let consumers feel the Hulunbuir grassland as if they were there when they get the milk, we adopted a unique and innovative perspective in the packaging design, transforming into a Mongolian eagle, flying over the clouds, overlooking the vast and endless grassland. Through the clouds, we see Hulunbuir, green grassland, blue lakes, free cows, Mongolian yurts with ethnic characteristics, casting oblique shadows in the warm sun. The picture of the grassland wraps around the milk packaging in 360 degrees, maximizing and condensing the vastness and purity of the Hulunbuir grassland in a limited packaging area.

In the design of the product name, we combined the four Chinese characters “呼伦贝尔Hulunbuir” with the writing style of Mongolian characters of the local ethnic group, making these four Chinese characters both highly readable and very regional. When consumers get the product packaging and read the product name, they will have a longing for its origin.

Satine Hulunbuir Organic Milk has achieved excellent sales performance on e-commerce platforms, and also achieved rapid expansion in offline channels. Thr products bring Hulunbuir’s scenery and characteristics to major shopping malls across the country, satisfying consumers’ longing for the grassland. In just 5 months after its launch, Satine Hulunbuir Organic Milk achieved a performance of over 50 million yuan and maintained a 69% month-on-month growth, proving that it is a successful commercial design.
