FANG PU

FangPu is a modern law firm next to the main avenue of the prosperous city. The name derives from the idiom "Law is the criterion that helps people in difficulty", symbolising the lawyers' duty to protect people's legitimate rights according to the law.
The designers were tasked with presenting the symbolic meanings of different interior elements while enticing visitors from the lobby. Visitors are first greeted by the ceiling lamps from link to chain--interconnecting and constraining each other--showcasing the philosophical speculation between individual and whole, past and present. Next is the marble reception desk, representing lawyers welcoming warmly and cooperating professionally with clients. The clean and bright floor-to-ceiling glass conference room conveys the ideas of "openness, honest and transparency" in lawyers' duties in practice. The rolling decorative lines on the glass represent the old wisdom "mountains beyond mountains", which always inspires lawyers to be modest but progressive.
In the colour and material selection, focusing on "inclusiveness", the designers chose the popular combination of gold and white as the primary colours and befittingly embellished with contrasting colours to increase the sense of dynamism. Selected boards of calm colours, lined with bamboo charcoal fibre wallboards and grille boards, create a multiple layering scene and a reassuring and relaxing negotiation environment.
