Working by the river

The settlement of two people and two cats begins with river view outside windows, so making the indoor and outdoor views harmoniously connect is a major focus of this design. In the pattern, every window frame is connected as much as possible, and even the orientation is changed, so that river view can be continuously captured from different angles in space, and at the same time, it must meet the large needs of house owners for storage and display. Therefore, it breaks the closed style and penetrates the design technique to make function, beauty and sense of life both.



River view is a major theme of this house, and through the design, people in the house are naturally connected to the beauty in their lives. First, the visual barrier of sofa’s back wall is lowered and replaced with a glass screen, so that the river view of public area continues to extend, and people inside the house can have more interaction.



In private area, the wall between master bedroom and the second bedroom is removed, and the orientation of master bedroom is also changed, so that two people could sleep with the river view.



Functionally speaking, according to the owner's wishes, the entrance is a wardrobe, and the second bedroom is changed into a dressing room, therefore this semi-independent space can be extended on a visual level, but also as the hostess's private space, by adding her favorite pink elements.



Continuing the transparent design technique, the top and ceiling of wardrobe are removed, and the side is open to extend landscape and light, thus it can also be combined with bedside table for cat’s activity route.
