“I can have it all” is the label of China’s Z generation: they want both health and deliciousness; they want both individuality and identity. They are not satisfied with a single choice, but like to collide and integrate seemingly opposite things, creating new possibilities. This attitude is like the process of planetary collision and merger in the universe, forming new celestial bodies. Duoxuan (English name: Double Joy) draws inspiration from “planetary collision”, combining yogurt and ice cream into one, creating a new generation of ice-cream yogurt that allows “one cup, two tastes, multiple enjoyment”, letting young people enjoy both the health of yogurt and the deliciousness of ice cream.
Duoxuan’s color scheme is inspired by obsidian, using a high-end cool black and gold color scheme to occupy the mind of Z generation. The front of the package highlights the brand LOGO, which is formed by the collision and fusion of the Chinese character “炫xuan” and the letter J in “Double Joy”, creating a very impactful visual symbol. The back of the package is inspired by the composition of planetary collisions in the universe, which not only shows the collision and fusion of yogurt and flavors, resulting in the birth of a new category, but also intuitively presents the product’s flavors, making it easy for consumers to choose.
Duoxuan uses a trendy design language to build an image with visual tension, which not only meets the young people’s dual needs for health and deliciousness, but also shows their dual pursuit of individuality and identity.
