Hometown is Where the Heart is--Fangnuo Tea House

The project is by a lake in the natural scenic spot in Wuzhishan，Hainan.
This project was inspired by the boat-shaped house, a traditional building of Li nationality. Integrating the wisdom of Li ancestors, this highly distinctive building is full of Li people’s feelings towards their ancestors.Extracting the circular arch shape of the boat-shaped house, the design creates the atmosphere of traditional building space in a modern mode of construction. It looks like a boat which finally ends the wandering life and finds a berth in the distance, giving people a feeling of quietness and sense of belonging.
