The Peninsula

The project is situated near Green Island Lake in Chancheng District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province.

It is right next to the beautiful Green Island Lake, providing scarce and precious natural lake views in Foshan. The area boasts a wealth of stunning landscape resources.

Through thoughtfully planned circulation, the goal is to maximize the integration between the architecture and the surrounding environment. The buildings are no longer isolated structures but rather harmoniously blend and penetrate with the sunken courtyards, creating a seamless fusion and connection.

From the ground floor to the basement, from the sand table to the negotiation area, from indoor to outdoor spaces, a sense of order and freedom is established, creating a multi-level spatial sequence that enhances the architectural spatial positioning.

Along the side of Changan Road, the entrance is designed in harmony with a unified commercial extension, featuring smooth curves that extend the shape of the lake island.

The entrance design draws its shape from yachts, creating a luxurious yacht-themed community entrance. It is achieved through the use of oversized cantilevered white aluminum panels and 9K ultra-clear glass, in combination with the landscape design in the front. The facades on both sides of the entrance incorporate the textures of butterfly wings, blending harmoniously with the yacht-inspired design. This seamless integration of nature and art enhances the sculptural quality of the entrance, creating a strong sense of dynamism.

The design of the area carries forward the creative concept from the entrance with several semi-circular curved forms, resembling a lively and continuous lakeshore. Utilizing curved glass curtain walls, the boundaries between indoors and outdoors are blurred, allowing the courtyard landscape to be seamlessly incorporated into the interior space. This complements the cascading and stunning blue swimming pools, creating a harmonious interplay.

During the night, strip lights trace the outline of the "lakeshore," creating a captivating interplay of light and shadow. The reflection on the water surface adds to the mesmerizing effect as they intertwine and flow, creating a dynamic and captivating ambiance.
