GUANGDONG BOWYUE BMW NETWORK TRANSFORMATION CENTER

The project is located in an old BMW 4S store in Panyu, Guangzhou. The interior showroom upgrade, in the design takes "the other side of the galaxy, the boundless land" as the main line, connecting different functional spaces in the showroom in series. We are trying to put the illusion of science and technology into the vast universe, and create a real and tangible miniature space that gives imagination.

The multiple annular light bands inserted into the first floor and the interlayer space, and the annular "rising" way broke the original boundary between the two floors. The light belt on the top of the first floor interprets the strong wormhole-like cosmic gravity, intentionally weakens the functional attributes of the building, and leads to a wonderful sense of mystery and depth, which makes people eager to explore.The top of the interlayer space is surrounded by light strips, and the light strips on the top of the first floor form a multi-dimensional ring to wrap up the whole space. The light through the room and different sky colors like a silver- white ring of the Milky Way around the sky, making visitors gradually follow the trajectory of the space to establish a kind of circular wandering process.

The designers refine the brand DNA into the design language of "shop-in-shop", breaking the previous "imprisonment". In this design, the meditation room introduced for the first time is intertwined with the main design line "Beyond the Galaxy, the Infinite Land" to weave a complete experience scene. When visitors walk slowly into the meditation room along the "flower path" of the restaurant, a new space narrative "spiritual dialogue with the circulation of time and space" is opened. In addition to the presentation of the sense of space atmosphere, in the outline of details, the design team makes the ground. Recyclable ground glue, the TV background wall covered by cardboard tube, and the semi-arc steps of environmental protection cork, etc., show the application of environmental protection concept in space to the greatest extent, as well as continuing the original Sime Darby and BMW’s environmental sustainability concept.
