Threading

The site is a new apartment. The name of the project is "Threading" because of the visualization of interlocking lines. The client's memorabilia, collectibles, and liquor needed a "customized home" to store them. The client's preference is for a Japanese MUJI style, so the design team took wood tones as the base. Light and warm colors embellished with the lines, realizing the design and functionality between horizontal and vertical twists and turns. Then, the grille and the large color block match each other, giving a new look to the MUJI style and creating a comfortable and pleasant place to live.
The large color blocks are the highlight. The design team installed irregular light strips on the ceiling to create a sense of flow. The process of light entering the room becomes tangible, thus enhancing the brightness of the interior. Natural light is interwoven with the warmth of the wood grains, and there is a subtle sense of layering in the rustic texture. The result is a unique yet vibrant residence.
