Tranquility and Symbiosis

This case is a single family villa located at the foot of Sheshan Mountain, Shanghai, China, 650 square meters, and also a happy residence with a three-child family.

For this case, my interior design is different from the French appearance of the original building, with huge floor-to-ceiling Windows and elegant and fine reliefs. The huge contrast between the outside and the inside is like a gift box with romantic soul, when you gently open it, there are layers of surprises.

1f Through reasonable transformation, the house has a more majestic entrance hall and porch; Taking into account the convenience of storage in life, a hidden entry shoe and hat room is planned on one side of the foyer. In addition, the traditional kitchen is changed into an open social kitchen, so that the kitchen is not just a space for babysitters to cook.

2f living floor through reasonable planning, each family member has their own suite, to ensure the privacy of the space but also connect the interaction between the public area and the first floor.

The change of the position of the basement stairs allows the north light to borrow to the basement, and the landscape of the sunken courtyard is a good introduction of the indoor eye; As an important space up and down every day, the staircase hall is redefined by the designer to splice, simplify and separate the exposed concrete, logs, terrazzo and rust board, and uses new materials, new construction methods and structural construction methods to create different styles and features, giving birth to the unique personality of the building. Light, shadow, architecture, elements from different cultures and histories, logos, modernity and tradition collide

The empty hall retains the original building slope roof form, and the cement art paint is applied randomly. Breaking the inherent tonality of the traditional ceiling, the main background does not appear the same marble; Choose a more personalized color black smear process, such as the color palette, highlighting the quality and tension of the space, so that the entire environment is more artistic temperament.
