Joyful Long Island Residential Space

The aim of this design is to create a modern, exquisite, and natural living environment for an 850-square-meter villa located on Joy Island in Ziyang City, Sichuan. The villa's owner is a post-90s male returnee who spent many years studying and living abroad before returning to China to take over the family business. He mostly resides alone in this villa.

We adhere to the philosophical concept mentioned in Zhuangzi's "天下" which states, "Being alone, he exchanges with the spirits of Heaven and Earth, without rejecting or condemning anything in the world, and without engaging in worldly disputes." Through the layout and design of the space, we aim to allow the owner to coexist harmoniously with nature, escape the hustle and bustle of the world, and find tranquility and work-life balance.

The design theme centers on an exquisite and natural style, emphasizing the integration of natural elements such as the use of natural wood and stone materials to create a comfortable and cozy living atmosphere. Simultaneously, in line with the owner's personal preferences, we selected simple yet refined furniture and decorations, creating a space that combines modernity and quality.

Finally, through thoughtful space planning and meticulous design, we provide the owner with a comfortable, practical, and aesthetically pleasing living environment. This environment allows him to engage in deep communication with the spirits of Heaven and Earth at home and enjoy a high-quality life.
