Dedicated to an urban villa in Jinan, Shandong province, China, this interior design embodies a minimalist aesthetic and philosophy towards life, offering its occupants a tranquil, cozy, and refined home.
Minimalism lies at the heart of this interior design. All beams and columns are artfully assimilated into the spatial architecture, precluding any visual disturbance from overt structural elements. This approach fosters a minimalist and spacious ambience, crafting a distinctive design that harmoniously unites modern building construction with interior aesthetics. Expansive areas are intentionally kept blank and further enlivened by four slabs finished in volcanic green finish, which are sourced from the Italian brand, LAMINAM. This pop of color spices up the interior space with a natural touch. Furthermore, the gray marble walls seamlessly transition to the wood-colored flooring, softening the shift between warm and cold tones while also enriching the overall texture.
In the basement design, the gray marble wall, paired with a chandelier adorned with white ceramic ginkgo leaves, effectively blurs the boundaries between the two floors, visually unifying them into a harmonious whole. The intricate leaf design of the chandelier, along with the interplay of light and shadow it casts, infuses the space with a dynamic vibe and artistic allure.
