Nodal is an innovative and highly sustainable parametric façade system that aims to promote a connection with nature in the city. It achieves this by creating small ecosystems that integrate modern architecture with nature and reduce the carbon footprint. The system processes sewage, food waste, air pollution and excess heat through a composite system. This converts them into clean water, fertiliser, fresh air and clean energy to return to the natural ecology in the system. The system also provides a diverse planting environment for users to cultivate a wide range of plants. Additionally, an app program and robot chances can assist in planting and cultivating plants to meet different plant care needs.



The Nodal cell has a parametrically generated shape and is designed as a hollow structure that can be easily hung on building surfaces. The cell's exterior is made of white high-efficiency solar panels, which are futuristic, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly. The units in the system can connect and communicate with each other, creating a community where residents can share resources and reduce waste for their mutual benefit.



Moreover, Nodal is also an educational system that provides gardening activities and teaches about plants. This promotes environmental awareness and encourages people to adopt more sustainable practices.
